Welcome to this week's episode of the series "Let's Know Islam". Today, we continue to discuss the divine blessings in paradise, via reference to ayahs of Holy Quran. Based on the descriptions which have been presented by ayahs of Holy Quran; there is an abundance of divine blessings in paradise, upon which righteous individuals embark upon, and eternally live within.

Based on the features that Holy Quran has attributed to paradise; there are two groups of Heavenly blessings and joys for the devout and pious. One group consists of material and physical blessings, with the other group compromising of spiritual blessings. This shows that mankind benefits from both groups of blessings in Hereafter. Naturally, spiritual joys and blessings are the main blessings and joys which the inhabitants of paradise benefit from. Meanwhile, true understanding of these spiritual blessings is not possible for the inhabitants of the mortal world. Nonetheless, we will mention some of these spiritual blessings in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, it should be pointed out that there are appropriate responses to each of mankind's requests, in paradise. Inhabitants of paradise benefit from heavenly blessings without any difficulty. There is an abundance of divine blessings in paradise, and there is no need for rivalry of the inhabitants of paradise for gaining access to these divine blessings. Heavenly blessings including its foods and drinks do not leave any negative impacts on mankind.

The material blessings which have been mentioned by Holy Quran, include creeks and shadows. In paradise, there are many rivers and springs with pure and transparent water, running underneath the shadows of trees.

The inhabitants of paradise live in appropriate Heavenly abodes in ultimate peace of mind and tranquility. Beautiful and valuable carpets have been spread in these abodes. The residents of these Heavenly abodes sit on tall and glorious beds, and have access to a variety of colorful fruits.

The ayahs of Holy Quran elaborate on how the guests of God are hosted in paradise. Some of the ayahs of Surat al-Insan in Holy Quran have provided details in this regard.

The 15th ayah of Surat al-Insan in Holy Quran notes: "They will be served around with vessels of silver and goblets of crystal."

The 17th to 19th ayahs of Surat al-Insan in Holy Quran note: "They will be served therein with a cup of drink seasoned with Zanjabil, a spring in it, named Salsabil. They will be waited upon by immortal youths, whom, when you see them, you will suppose them to be scattered pearls."

In continuation of the discussion about how the inhabitants of paradise are hosted, the 20th ayah of Surat al-Insan in Holy Quran notes: "As you look, you will see there bliss and a great kingdom."

The 21st ayah of Surat al-Insan in Holy Quran points out the other blessings of the inhabitants of paradise, noting: "Upon them there will be cloaks of green silk and brocade and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will give them to drink a pure drink."

Furthermore, the 45th to 47th ayahs of Surat al-Saffat in Holy Quran refer to another divine blessing, granted to inhabitants of paradise, noting: "Served around with a cup from a clear fountain, snow-white, delicious to the drinkers, wherein there will be neither headache nor will it cause them stupefaction."

The inhabitants of paradise receive a blissful message from God Almighty. They are told that they have been bestowed unique blessings, as the result of avoidance of sins by them, and their relentless efforts in the mortal world, which have been accepted by God Almighty.
