Today on the 5th of the Iranian month of Esfand, the Islamic Republic commemorates the great Iranian Islamic polymath Khwaja Naseer od-Din Tousi, who lived in the 13th century and was a multifaceted genius, being a theologian, a philosopher, a mathematician, an astronomer, an administrator, and a moralist – all rolled into one.
