We are on the eve of the auspicious occasion of the 18th of Zilhajjah, the Day of Ghadir, which marks the Greatest Eid of Islam, in honour of the perfection of faith by God Almighty following proclamation of Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (AS) as Vicegerent by Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny), while returning from his Farewell Hajj Pilgrimage to Mecca in the year 10 AH.
