Imam Hussein’s aim of uprising was to safeguard the divine values and protect the traditions of the Prophet of Islam. He spared no effort to revive the forgotten values of Islam. That’s why the Muslim scholars believe that: Islam owed its foundation to Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny) and survival to Imam Hussein (PBUH).
