The share of Florida from the costs of the election campaigns of two presidential hopefuls has stood at $40.5 million, which is equivalent to the costs of medical care for 27,574 residents of Florida.

The cost of these election campaigns is also tantamount the costs of education of 81,502 pupils in the State of Florida.

Florida is the third most populous state in America, which is situated in the southeast US. Its announced population stands at 20.09 million people.

As of the year 2014 to this date, the rate of poverty has surged by 2% in Florida, standing at 16.6%, which goes to show that 3.23 million residents of Florida live below the poverty line.

The large number of voters in Florida has led the presidential hopefuls to pay especial attention to this state, and to allocate the highest election campaign budget to Florida after the States of California and Texas.
