Indomitable Gazans blunt Zionist terrorism once again

The 2-day conflict that Israel had started with the aim of bludgeoning the besieged Palestinians into further humiliation, badly backfired on the aggressors, who had no choice but to plead for peace and agree to ease restrictions, including the attempt to shorten the 12-nautical km fishing zone in the Mediterranean

Kayhan International posed the questions: “What made the terroristic Zionist regime end its latest murderous assault on the besieged people of Gaza and agree to a ceasefire, despite its indiscriminate air strikes on civilian centres, massive military buildup for invasion, and threats of the past few days to use maximum force to make the Palestinians pay dearly?

“Why did its godfather, US the super terrorist, press for immediate cessation of hostilities, as publicly stated by gangster Mike Pompeo who endorsed the Egyptian plan for truce in spite of the full support expressed to Israel by his boss Donald Trump at a time when that other idiot of the thuggish regime in Washington, John Bolton, is beating drums of war by dispatching a naval convoy to the Persian Gulf and threatening the Islamic Republic of Iran with “unrelenting force” if American interests come under attack anywhere in the region by any party?

“The answers are obvious. Both the US and its surrogate Israel are run by a set of bloodthirsty cowards who live in a state of acute fear and are afraid of their own shadows.

“Their bravado, their lying, their deceit, their penchant for economic terrorism, and flexing of their over-inflated military muscles, are designed to conceal their gutlessness that nevertheless is always badly exposed. This happened in Venezuela during the US-backed coup that recently flopped, and now in Gaza whose indomitable defenders fired as many as 600 missiles to shatter the so-called iron dome and inflict casualties on the worthless Zionists.”

Kayhan International pointed out: “Though the Israelis killed some 22 Palestinians during their four-hundred-odd air strikes of last Saturday and Sunday on Gaza, including two pregnant women and several children, they disclosed their own death toll as “four” and hid the number of the injured, for fear of panic taking hold of territories under their control, which wore a deserted look with most fleeing their businesses for the safety of bomb shelters.

“It is presumed the actual death toll for the Zionists is higher, and that made them lose heart.

“Moreover, the serving of notice by the Palestinians to use more powerful and longer range missiles to target the Dimona nuclear power plant and the Ben Gurion Airport, scared the daylights out of Benjamin Netanyahu and his dastardly backers in the US – Trump, Pompeo and Bolton – and made them agree to a ceasefire.

“The Zionists, however, should never be trusted. They are devils to the very core, and the slightest negligence by the Gazans will embolden these terrorists to renew attacks on the Palestinians, as has happened over the past year with at least eight brief but increasingly fierce rounds of fighting, sometimes lasting little more than a day.

“These assaults are intended to keep the Gazans in a state of turmoil, since Israel is afraid of any full-scale wars that had occurred in 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2014, with heavy losses for the Zionists.”

Kayhan International noted: “Fortunately, the Palestinian defenders are aware of these facts and determined to blunt the enemy’s plots. Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Kanoo has made it clear that “any truce that does not obligate the occupation to lift the siege on our people in Gaza will be fragile and collapse once again.”

“The Gazans deserve praise for their spirit of resistance against the might of the Zionist regime and their ability to procure, build, and improvise means of defence, especially the missile arsenal, despite the treachery of fellow Arabs and restrictions placed upon their free movement by the Egyptian regime of Abdel-Fattah as-Sisi.

“In view of these undeniable facts, Bolton and his boss ought to see psychiatrists before bragging of “unrelenting force” against the power and prestige of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region and beyond.

“One wrong move by the US, will reduce its aircraft carriers and bombers to useless metal scrap, while the sight of CENTCOM terrorists returning home in body bags from anywhere in the vast region, extending from North Africa to Afghanistan, will definitely bring Trump and his team of thugs to their knees.”
