Shimon Peres was pronounced dead on September 28, after two weeks in coma. After Ariel Sharon, he is the second Zionist regime ringleader who has died in the past two years. The 93-year-old Peres was of Polish origin. He was born in a polish city, which is the present day city of Vishnyeva in Belarus. Shimon Peres, in the company of his family members, migrated to Palestine, 82 years ago, in the year 1934. The illegal Zionist entity announced its existence while Shimon Peres was 25.

Study of his record of conduct shows that Peres played a direct role in foundation and expansion of the spurious Zionist regime, forced evacuation of Palestinians, construction of Zionist settlements, the so-called Oslo Peace Treaty in 1993, Operation Grapes of Wrath in 1996, ambush of Qana Refugee Camp in southern Lebanon, and the brutal suppression of first and second Intifadas of Palestinians.

In the year 1947, Peres joined the paramilitary, terrorist outfit, Haganah, which was led by David Ben-Gurion. Later on, this terrorist outfit shaped the initial core of the Zionist regime’s army, and played a major role in the forced evacuation of Palestinians and settlement of Zionists. Peres was the person in charge of purchase of weapons for Haganah terrorist group. Upon the declaration of existence of spurious Israeli regime in May 1948, the first premier of illegal Zionist entity, Ben-Gurion, appointed Peres as the commander of Zionist regime’s navy.

Amid the years 1959 to 1965, Peres was instated as the Zionist regime’s deputy minister of war. In the year 1974, Peres was appointed as the minister of war in Yitzhak Rabin’s cabinet, retaining this post for three years. He was reappointed as the minister of war for a year in 1995.

The first political post of Peres in occupied Palestine was membership in Knesset, in the year 1959. He held a seat in Knesset until the year 2007, in which he was appointed as the head of Zionist regime of Israel. Prior to his appointment as the head of Zionist regime, Peres was appointed at the helm of five Israeli regime ministries, and was also instated as the Zionist regime’s premier for two terms. In the year 2007, he was appointed as the 9th head of Zionist regime, remaining in this post for seven years. He highly contributed to Zionist regime’s nefarious nuclear plan, and became known as its architect.

Throughout his political life, Peres was a member of four Zionist regime political parties. Initially, he was a member of Mapai Party, breaking away from this party in the year 1965, in the company of Ben-Gurion, and establishing the Zionist party, Rafi. Two years later, in 1967, Peres laid the ground for alliance of Mapai and Rafi parties, shaping Zionist regime’s Labor Party. As of 1977-1992, Peres was the secretary general of Zionist regime’s Labor Party. Peres later joined the Kadima Party. In fact, Peres established Kadima Party, in the company of Zionist regime ringleaders such as Ariel Sharon, Ehud Olmert, and Tzipi Livni.

Peres was involved in all of Zionist regime crimes. As a main member of the paramilitary, terrorist outfit, Haganah, he played a direct role in the change of demographic makeup of occupied Palestine, via a number of means such as forced eviction of Palestinians and construction of Zionist settlements.

He showed his fierce brutality in April 1996, as the Zionist regime’s premier, when he ordered an attack against Lebanon in a futile bid to crush Lebanese resistance. In this attack, Zionist troopers, under Peres orders, raided Qana refugee camp in southern Lebanon, killing and wounding more than 250 people. Thereafter, Peres became known as the Butcher of Qana.

Throughout his term as the head of Zionist regime, the illegal Zionist entity waged two wars against Gaza in the year 2008, and against Lebanese resistance in the year 2012, leaving thousands dead and wounded. An attack on a ship which was carrying humanitarian aid for Gazans, in the year 2010, was one of the other despicable crimes committed by the usurper Israeli regime troops within Peres term in office as the head of illegal Zionist entity.

Additionally, Peres backed some of the other heinous and horrific crimes committed by the Zionist regime. In the year 1982, Peres was a staunch supporter of Zionist regime’s incursions against Lebanon, which left more than 20,000 civilians dead. In the years 1987 and 2000, Peres backed the brutal suppression of 1st and 2nd Intifadas. In the 1st Intifada, roughly 3,000 Palestinians were martyred, with thousands of others sustaining injuries. Also, in the 2nd Intifada, more than 3,000 Palestinians attained martyrdom, while thousands of others were injured. Peres was also a main supporter of siege of Gaza, which began in the year 2006, and continues to this day.

Despite of his reprehensible crimes, a few analysts and media ironically and baselessly refer to Peres as man of peace. The main reason for this is the role Peres played in Oslo peace conference in the year 1993. This conference which somehow led to the de facto recognition of Israeli regime by Arab countries, did not bring about any alleviation in Zionist regime crimes, and in fact set the stage for the official and unofficial diplomatic relations of Arab states with the Zionist regime. Actually, this peace conference only fulfilled Israeli regime’s interests, and was not in line with an enhancement of security in Middle East, given that prior to this peace confab, Arab countries and Zionist regime had not fought each other for twenty years. Egypt, which was the flag-bearer of war against Zionist regime, had also signed Camp David peace treaty with the Israeli regime in the year 1979. Meanwhile, after the Oslo peace conference, the Israeli regime continued to wage war against Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon. However, the Arab rulers remained silent in the face of abominable crimes committed by the illegal Zionist entity.

Three individuals played the main roles in Oslo peace conference, which were namely the then Zionist regime foreign minister, Shimon Peres, the then Zionist regime’s premier, Yitzhak Rabin, and the head of Palestine Liberation Organization, Yasser Arafat. Meanwhile, Rabin died in the year 1995. Arafat passed away in 2004, and Peres died 12 years later. So currently, none of the architects of Oslo peace agreement are alive.

Meanwhile, the important development which captured the attention of media after the death of Shimon Peres, was the reactions of some Arab leaders, especially the reactions of the head of Palestine self-rule Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, and the Bahraini foreign minister, Khalid bin Ahmad Aale Khalifa. In his webpage, the Bahraini foreign minister forwarded condolences on the death of Peres. Meanwhile, the head of Palestine self-rule Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, took a few steps further, claiming that Shimon Peres was not only the spiritual father of Israeli regime and was also the leader of Palestinian nation.

Meanwhile, Robert Fisk, the prominent analyst of Middle Eastern affairs, in an article in the English daily, Independent, wrote that in contrast to the propaganda campaigns of Western officials, Shimon Peres was not a man of peace. Fisk pointed out when he was informed of Peres death; he remembered the bloodshed that Peres had waged in Qana. Fisk had witnessed children whose bodies were torn into pieces, and refugees whose bodies were burnt in Qana refugee camp, as the result of the Zionist troops’ barbaric attacks under Peres orders.
