Quds eternally belongs to the World of Islam (3)

The US Congress approved the bill for transference of the US embassy to Beit Ul-Moqaddas on October 23, 1995. Meanwhile, a number of previous US administrations have not implemented this ratification. The incumbent US president, Donald Trump, in his election campaign had pledged to implement this ratification.

The incumbent US president, despite of large-scale regional and global opposition, introduced Quds as the capital of the spurious Zionist regime of Israel. Meanwhile, the US measure in recognition of Quds as the capital of the usurper Israeli regime is a flagrant violation of international resolutions.

In the view of UN resolutions, Beit ul-Moqaddas is considered as one of the occupied lands. The UN Security Council approved a resolution on December 2016, according to which no change in regard to borders prior to June 4, 1967 will be recognized in relation to Beit ul-Moqaddas, unless the parties to negotiations would reach an agreement in relation to this issue.

A review of the US conduct manifests that the US administration has always sought the reinforcement and security of the Israeli regime.

The Leader of Islamic Revolution has pointed out that the US plot has taken place in three main currents. These three currents include the adoption of policy for stirring rifts among regional countries; political, economic, and cultural infiltration in Islamic countries; and the policy of causing rifts among Muslims.

Currently, in continuation of this trend, the US administration, upon announcement of Quds as the capital of Zionist regime of Israel, is after adventurism within the region. Meanwhile, several factors have contributed to formation of this trend, such as compromise with the usurper Israeli regime and maintenance of trust toward hollow promises which have further emboldened the US, Zionist, and Saudi officials in dealing with the issue of Palestine.

Undoubtedly, one of the most important crises in Middle East as of 50 years ago, has been the issue of Palestine, and the sinister goals of the usurper Israeli regime in occupation of holy Quds.

The Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace), named the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the Day of Quds in order to raise an opportunity for Muslims across the globe to declare their solidarity with Palestinians.

Late Imam Khomeini, in part of his remarks, pointed out: "The Day of Quds is not only the Day of Palestine. It is a day in which superpowers should understand they can no longer advance in Islamic countries. The Day of Quds is a day in which we should warn all superpowers that Islam will no longer be dominated by them. The Day of Quds is the day of existence of Islam."

Furthermore , the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, in a meeting with the heads of three branches of government, a number of officials of the sacred Islamic system, ambassadors of Islamic countries, and guests of the Islamic Unity Conference, noted: "Some of the US politicians, wittingly or unwittingly, have admitted that war and confrontation should always be stirred in West Asia region, so that the Israeli regime would maintain a safe margin and the World of Islam would not have the ability to develop and progress."

The Leader of Islamic Revolution added that everyone is duty-bound to make efforts for the liberation and rescue of the Palestinian nation.

The Leader of Islamic Revolution also reiterated that the blatant announcement of Quds as the capital of Zionist regime by the enemies of the sacred religion of Islam is a sign of their weakness, while adding that the World of Islam certainly stands up against this conspiracy, and the beloved Palestine will ultimately be liberated.

Meanwhile, regional developments show that the Middle East region is currently within a sensitive phase in time. The vigilant measure of the World of Islam in this sensitive, historical phase in time, highly contributes to future regional conditions. Although the resistance current, and the Islamic Awakening Movement have alleviated the plots of the foes of Islam, and have foiled many of their disintegration plots; this conspiracy should not be underestimated.

The US officials know that in order to continue their impact and domination on Middle East, they should stabilize the existence of Zionist regime in the new map of Middle East. Meanwhile, the American officials leave no stones unturned in the pursuit of this ominous goal.
