US: Significant progress made in 2nd round of talks with Iran
Pars Today - The spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State announced on Saturday night that significant progress has been made in the second round of negotiations between Tehran and Washington.
U.S. State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce emphasized that the second round of Tehran-Washington negotiations in Rome, the capital of Italy, had significant and noticeable progress. He stated that both sides agreed to resume negotiations next week. The second round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States was held on Saturday (April 19) in Rome, hosted by Oman. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi said after the negotiations "If realism and goodwill (from the American side) continue, there is a possibility of achieving results.”/ Mehr news agency
