Ferdowsi statue unveiled in Lahore: A symbol of Iran-Pakistan cultural ties

Pars Today – On the occasion of National Persian Language Day and in honor of Hakim Abolghasem Ferdowsi, a statue of the legendary Persian poet was unveiled in Lahore, Pakistan’s cultural capital.

The ceremony was attended by the governor of Punjab, Iran’s ambassador to Islamabad, Iran’s consul general in Lahore, and academic and cultural figures, including Persian language professors and university presidents.
