IAEA chief: Agreement with Iran is very important
Pars Today - The director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), who has been emphasizing the importance of this body's key role in a possible agreement between Iran and the United States in various comments these days, said on Wednesday night: "The success of negotiations and reaching an agreement with Iran is very important for reducing tensions."
Rafael Grossi, in an interview with the US News, stated that “what is important now is that we can obtain the clarifications we need about what is happening, and that the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States are technically and seriously supported.” The IAEA director general also, regarding the political atmosphere in the West against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, said “there must be a trustworthy, strong, and verifiable agreement that is verified by the Agency.” / IRNA
