Araqchi in a conversation with Swedish FM: We condemn attack on Iranian Embassy in Stockholm

Pars Today – In a phone call with his Swedish counterpart, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran condemned the attack on the Iranian Embassy in Stockholm and called on the Swedish government to take serious action against those responsible for the incident.

In a phone conversation between Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and Maria Malmer Stenergard the two sides condemned the attack on the Iranian Embassy in Stockholm. They also discussed bilateral and consular issues. Referring to Tehran–Stockholm relations, both emphasized the need for deeper consultations to resolve misunderstandings and to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The Swedish foreign minister reaffirmed her country’s commitment to protecting Iran’s diplomatic premises and assured that Stockholm would take the necessary measures to ensure the security of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. /IRNA
