Pars Today- Thanks to diplomatic efforts and mediation of regional and international powers, the Indian and Pakistani foreign ministers announced an agreement for immediate ceasefire on Saturday.

After a few days of clashes between India and Pakistan, the foreign ministers of both countries agreed with ceasefire. According to Pars Today, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, announced on Saturday that Islamabad and New Delhi have agreed with an immediate ceasefire. The Indian foreign ministry, also, approved the news and announced that the ceasefire with Pakistan began at 5 p.m. local time.

According to the announcement of the Indian foreign ministry, the chiefs of staff of the armed forces of the two countries will negotiate again on Monday.

The latest round of conflicts between India and Pakistan escalated after a terrorist attack in the Indian administered Kashmir which led to 27 dead.

India had accused Pakistan for the event, but Islamabad ruled out the allegation and called for a transparent and neutral probe into the case. Then, India launched operation Sindoor in which several targets were struck in Pakistan and made Pakistan retaliate.
