Borrell: Israeli cabinet is committing war crimes in Gaza Strip

Pars Today – The former EU foreign policy chief, in a strong criticism of the Israeli regime on Friday, stated that the Israeli cabinet is committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.

As he collected the Charles V European Award in front of dignitaries including King Felipe in south-west Spain on Friday, Joseph Borrell described Israel's actions following the October 7, 2023 attacks (Al-Aqsa Storm Operation) as the largest ethnic cleansing since World War II. He also criticized the European Union's response to this ethnic cleansing by Tel Aviv. The former Spanish foreign minister further charged the Israeli regime with violating all conflict regulations and using the starvation of Gaza's civilian population as a "weapon of war." /IRIB news agency
