Lebanese PM: We do not trust Israeli guarantees
Pars Today – The prime minister of Lebanon reaffirmed his government’s continuous efforts to secure the release of captives and the liberation of the country’s occupied territories, emphasizing that Lebanon does not trust the guarantees of the Israeli regime.
During a visit to the Ministry of Interior to monitor the vote counting process after the end of the municipal elections, Nawaf Salam, regarding the published reports about the prisoner exchange agreement between Iran, Iraq, and the Zionist regime, which may include Lebanese captives, emphasizing that the Lebanese government does not trust Tel Aviv's guarantees, said: “We still demand the release of Lebanese captives, just as we have never ceased our efforts to liberate the occupied territories of Lebanon.” / IRNA
