  • Iran–Oman joint statement: Continued regional and international coordination

Pars Today – In a joint statement issued Wednesday at the end of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s official visit to Muscat, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman emphasized the deep historical and brotherly bonds between their nations, lasting bilateral cooperation, mutual respect between their leaders, and the expansion of relations in all areas.

The joint statement affirmed both countries’ commitment to opening new horizons in economic partnership, supporting the private sector in increasing trade and investment, continuing regional and international coordination, and condemning the Zionist regime’s actions against the Palestinian people.

The two sides also welcomed Oman’s active role in facilitating indirect talks between Iran and the United States on nuclear issues, as well as the issuance of a joint postage stamp as a symbol of cultural diplomacy. / IRNA
