    Iranian team dominates Rayan AI competition

Pars Today – The international Rayan programming and artificial intelligence competition concluded with an outstanding performance by Iranian elites.

The closing ceremony of the Rayan International Programming and Artificial Intelligence Competition was held on Saturday at Iran’s Sharif University of Technology, with participants from 25 countries in attendance. In the preliminary stages, 46 countries from Europe, 38 from Asia, 24 from Africa, 18 from the Americas, and 11 from Oceania took part.

According to Pars Today, Iranian elite competitors ranked first, fifth, eighth, and tenth in the programming category of the competition.

Iranian participants also secured the top three positions in the artificial intelligence category.

The winner of the competition will receive 15,000 dollars, the second-place finisher 10,000 dollars, and the third-place finisher 5,000 dollars. Participants ranking fourth through tenth will each be awarded 2,000 dollars.

Trump threatened the Venezuelan president with the use of force

Amid the ongoing Caracas–Washington crisis, the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday that during a phone conversation with his Venezuelan counterpart, the U.S. president threatened that if he did not voluntarily step down from power, the United States would resort to force.

Ansarullah Secretary-General: Yemen will stand with Palestine and Lebanon

In other news, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Secretary-General of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, said in a statement on Saturday—issued on the occasion of Yemen’s Independence Day (Eid al-Jalaa), which marks the departure of the last British soldier from Aden—that he congratulates the people of Yemen on this day and warned that the enemies are preparing for a new round of aggression.

He called on the Yemeni people to demonstrate their readiness and steadfastness through a massive, million-strong presence in Sana’a’s Al-Sabeen Square. He added that the people of Yemen will never abandon the people of Palestine, Lebanon, or the oppressed Islamic nation in the face of the Zionist regime, and that with faith in the divine promise, they consider the downfall of this temporary regime to be certain.

Erdoğan: Netanyahu is a murderer

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Saturday: “Netanyahu is a murderer, and Israel continues to violate the ceasefire in Gaza.” Erdoğan added that the Turkish people stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Zelensky: Steps will be taken in the coming days to end the war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a delegation from Kyiv has arrived in the United States to determine the necessary measures for ending the Ukraine war. He added that diplomacy remains active, and in the coming days, steps can be taken to outline how to bring the war to an honorable end.

The Ukrainian president noted that the delegation has “the necessary instructions” and is expected to act “in accordance with Ukraine’s clear priorities.”
