Hezbollah: Lebanese FM’s remarks provide Israel with a pretext

Pars Today – A Hezbollah MP strongly criticized the recent stance of Lebanon’s foreign minister, charging him with dereliction of national duty and warning that weakening the Resistance and focusing solely on the weapons issue would facilitate Israeli aggression and deepen the crisis in southern Lebanon.

Amin Sherri, a member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc" in the Lebanese Parliament, sharply denounced recent statements by Foreign Minister Youssef Raji, saying the official is providing diplomatic cover for Israeli attacks by ignoring national responsibilities. Sherri added that instead of supporting stability and sovereignty, the minister blames Hezbollah for the failure to implement Resolution 1701, effectively justifying continued Israeli aggression on Lebanese soil.
