Sudan’s cabinet dissolved
Pars Today – Sudan’s prime minister announced on Sunday night the dissolution of the caretaker government and instructed ministry secretaries-general and undersecretaries to run government operations until a new one is formed.
Prime Minister Kamil Idris informed cabinet members in a meeting that he had decided to dissolve the government and tasked ministry officials with handling operations in the interim. He also pledged to uphold the “principles of justice, peace, the rule of law and sustainable development” and stressed his commitment to political neutrality. Idris said he fully understands the weight of the responsibility placed upon him and remains dedicated to serving the people. /ISNA
