Venezuelan minister: Iranian speaker’s visit to Caracas reflects unity between two nations with shared interests
Pars Today – Venezuela’s minister of transportation, who also heads the Iran-Venezuela High-Level Joint Commission, on Monday described the visit of the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran to Caracas as a step toward removing obstacles in bilateral trade relations. He stated that the visit reflects “unity between two nations with shared interests.”
Ramón Velásquez Araguayán emphasized that the visit by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament (Majlis), “fills us with strength, as it demonstrates a genuine exchange and unity between two nations with common interests.”
Referring to progress in Tehran–Caracas relations, the Venezuelan transportation minister added that the goal is to accelerate efforts to eliminate obstacles and bureaucratic hurdles in order to ensure that relations between the two countries flow smoothly. / IRNA
