Araghchi at the conclusion of meetings with Lebanese officials: Our goal is to open a new chapter in Iran–Lebanon historical ties
Pars Today – At the conclusion of his meetings with Lebanese officials, the minister of foreign affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that Iran’s goal and hope is to open a new chapter in the historical relations between Iran and Lebanon, and reaffirmed Iran’s firm support for Lebanon’s independence, national sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
On Wednesday, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi wrote on X about his visit to Lebanon and meetings with the country’s authorities: “I am very pleased to be back in beautiful Beirut. In my meetings with the president, speaker of Parliament, prime minister, and foreign minister, I reiterated Iran’s strong support for Lebanon’s independence, national sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as for the country’s reconstruction efforts in light of the continued occupation by the Zionist regime.” / IRNA
