Lebanese Army: Israel rejected proposal to inspect sites in Beirut's southern suburbs
Pars Today – The Lebanese Army announced Friday that the Zionist regime has rejected a proposal to inspect sites in the southern suburbs of Beirut aimed at preventing further airstrikes, warning that continued violations of the ceasefire agreement could lead to the suspension of cooperation with the supervising body.
In a statement, the Army said that despite coordination efforts with the ceasefire monitoring committee, Israel had rejected Lebanon's proposal to inspect sites in the southern suburbs of Beirut to forestall new attacks. Referring to Thursday night’s airstrikes on southern Beirut and other areas in southern Lebanon, the statement added that the Zionist regime continues its aggression against Lebanon. /IRNA
