Former Israeli navy chief: Seizure of the 'Madeleine Ship' was a political and military failure

Pars Today – A former commander of the Israeli navy has described the seizure of the Madeleine Ship and the arrest of pro-Palestinian activists aboard it as both a political and military failure for Israel.

Former Israeli Navy Commander, Eliezer (Chayni) Marom said on Monday morning: “This event is not a military one; it is entirely political. Israel should have used diplomatic means to dissuade the activists and resolved the matter through political channels.”

He admitted that the seizure of the Madeleine and the arrest of its passengers by Israeli Naval Forces marked a failure for the regime both politically and militarily. (IRNA)
