Russia affirms Iran's right to uranium enrichment

Pars Today – Russia’s envoy to international organizations reaffirmed Iran’s legitimate right to enrich uranium.

In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative in Vienna-based international organizations, stated that Moscow is prepared to mediate between Tehran and Washington to help reach a political resolution to the Iranian nuclear file. He emphasized that Iran has a full right to enrich uranium as a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). (Mehr news agency)
