Joint statement by Iran’s FM & AEO in response to IAEA resolution: Iran has no choice but to respond

Pars Today – In reaction to the IAEA Board of Governors’ anti-Iran resolution, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) issued a joint statement declaring that the Islamic Republic has no choice but to respond to the political resolution.

The joint statement released on Thursday by the Foreign Ministry and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran reads: “As previously announced, the Islamic Republic has no choice but to respond to this political resolution. In this regard, necessary orders have been issued by the head of the Atomic Energy Organization for the launch of a new enrichment facility at a secure location and for the replacement of first-generation centrifuges at the Martyr Dr. Ali Mohammadi (Fordow) Enrichment Center with advanced sixth-generation centrifuges.” (IRNA)
