US condemned for inhumane support of Zionist regime

Pars Today – The secretary of Iran’s High Council for Human Rights condemned the US administration’s aggressive actions and its support for the Zionist regime during the recent 12-day war, calling for accountability for Iranian victims.

Speaking at the “American Human Rights from the Victims’ Perspective” panel, Nasser Seraj stated that US human rights claims are not universal or humanitarian, but rather a tool for justifying hegemonic policies and violations of others’ rights. He said that for decades the US has been among the greatest violators of human rights, and its rhetoric largely serves propaganda purposes that obscure its own extensive abuses. /IRIB news agency
