Israeli attacks target five schools sheltering displaced Palestinians

Pars Today – The United Nations has reported that the Israeli regime has attacked several schools serving as shelters for displaced persons in the Gaza Strip and an outbreak of meningitis that has emerged among children in the area.

According to the UN office in Gaza, five schools used to shelter displaced Palestinians in northern Gaza were hit by Israeli airstrikes and artillery fire over the past 48 hours. The report stated that these schools, used as emergency shelters by international organizations, were struck despite prior notifications designating them as civilian sites. The attacks resulted in the martyrdom and injury of several people sheltering in the schools, including women and children. /ISNA
