Pars Today – A senior Hamas official said the Zionist regime’s latest plan to divide the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza reflects its intention to maintain long-term occupation of the area.
Basem Naim, a senior member of Hamas, wrote on social media platform X that the creation of a new corridor dividing eastern Khan Younis from its western part indicates the occupiers’ long-term agenda of remaining inside Gaza, refusing withdrawal, and prolonging the war. “The entire Gaza Strip is under the military control of the occupying army, so establishing a new corridor has little practical significance, but it reveals the occupiers’ deeper motives and plans,” he wrote.
