Pars Today – During his recent visit to Russia, Iran’s foreign minister delivered a speech at MGIMO University, addressing faculty members and students.
On December 16, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, spoke at MGIMO University and emphasized that relations between Iran and Russia are very deep and comprehensive, encompassing political, economic, scientific, cultural, and even defense and security spheres. He said ties between the two countries are now extensive, and they share many common views on international issues. He added that Iran and Russia also hold similar positions in opposing U.S. hegemonic policies.
Araghchi noted that, unfortunately, the international system is moving toward disorder. He said that after the establishment of the United Nations, countries sought to create an order based on international law and rules, but what we are witnessing today—especially in the new policies of the U.S. administration—is the sidelining of law and its replacement with force and power.
