Suwayda clashes claim 940 lives in one week

Pars Today – Syrian sources have reported that the number of casualties in Suwayda, southern Syria, has risen to 940 dead in the past week since the outbreak of violence in the province.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that 940 individuals have been killed over the past week of conflict in Suwayda. Other sources confirmed that fighting between tribes and armed groups continues inside the city.
In response, a government emergency committee has been formed to expedite the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to Suwayda, alongside another committee focused on providing essential services and rebuilding infrastructure. (IRNA)
