Iran condemns Zionist regime's attack on "Handhala" ship

Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Zionist regime's naval attack on the "Handhala" ship on Sunday evening.

Esmaeil Baghaei, while condemning the Zionist naval forces' attack on the "Handhala" ship carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza in international waters, described this act as a clear example of maritime piracy and a flagrant violation of international law.

He stated this action was committed to advance the policy of genocide in occupied Palestine and to continue the cruel and inhumane blockade while intensifying the policy of imposing famine and starvation on the defenseless people of the Gaza Strip. 

Baghaei concluded by emphasizing the imperative need for the immediate lifting of the oppressive blockade on Gaza, the prompt and adequate provision of humanitarian assistance, and the distribution of such aid to the besieged territory exclusively through established international mechanisms.
