Trump thanks Iran for supporting Gaza peace plan

Pars Today — U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday expressed gratitude to Iran for backing the Gaza peace initiative.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Trump said, referring to Tehran’s support for the plan, “Thank you, Tehran!”

Responding to a reporter’s question about whether the peace plan would involve the evacuation of Gaza’s residents, Trump stated: “No one will be forced to leave — quite the opposite. It’s an incredible peace plan, and everyone supports it.”

When asked if he intended to maintain pressure for an agreement in Ukraine, Trump replied: “Yes, and the U.S. is selling a massive amount of weapons to NATO, which in turn is supplying Ukraine.”
