Iraqi appreciates Tajikistan's firm stance in condemning aggression against Iran

Pars Today – The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Wednesday during a meeting with his Tajik counterpart in Dushanbe, expressed appreciation for Tajikistan's principled and firm stance in condemning military aggressions against Iran. He also emphasized the urgent need for immediate action to help the oppressed people of Gaza and halt the crimes of the Zionist regime.  

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who headed a diplomatic delegation to Dushanbe for high-level consultations with Tajik officials, met and held talks with Sirojiddin Muhriddin, the Foreign Minister of Tajikistan. 

During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the progress of bilateral relations in various fields, including political, economic, trade, cultural, scientific-academic, tourism, and consular affairs. They also discussed ways to strengthen and expand relations and facilitate private-sector and people-to-people ties.  

Additionally, the meeting addressed regional developments in West Asia and Afghanistan. The Iranian Foreign Minister commended Tajikistan's principled and firm position in condemning military aggressions against Iran. Referring to the highly dangerous consequences of the Zionist regime's persistent violations of international law—particularly its genocide in occupied Palestine and continuous attacks on other countries—he stressed the urgent need for effective action by the international community and Islamic nations to assist the oppressed people of Gaza and stop the regime's crimes.
