Qalibaf: We will not surrender to enemy, will respond with strength

Pars Today – Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stressed that Iran will not surrender to the enemy and will respond with strength.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Qalibaf said: “Today, in the hybrid war — economic, military, diplomatic and other forms of warfare — we will never surrender. We will not shut down the country, and we will respond with strength, just as we have done so far, leaving the enemy helpless on every front.”

He added that Trump is facing a historic civilization and a national and religious resistance, saying he should know that he cannot impose his power on the Iranian people and the country’s armed forces.

Iran’s Parliament speaker said the late Leaders of the Islamic Revolution and Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei have institutionalized a strong culture of defense, adding that Iran is standing firm against the enemy’s hybrid, military, economic and media warfare and remains firmly present on the battlefield.

Qalibaf noted that the country has sustainable deterrence capabilities and can stand up to its adversaries.

He added: “The enemy should know that negotiations are also a battlefield. Diplomacy is not surrender; it is the conversion of power on the ground into political gains.”
