Pars Today – The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has reported that every day, 28 children die in Gaza due to bombing, malnutrition, and hunger.

UNICEF emphasized the immense suffering of Gaza’s children, noting: “Every day, many children in Gaza lose their lives as a result of airstrikes, malnutrition, starvation, and the lack of vital services — a number equivalent to an entire classroom.”

In a related statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that residents are living in unsanitary conditions surrounded by insects, rats, and open sewage, leading to widespread digestive and respiratory diseases. The ministry added that most of Gaza’s medical centers are no longer operational, and that the first victims of hunger and disease are the most vulnerable — especially children.

On Monday, the ministry confirmed that six Palestinians, including an infant, died of hunger and malnutrition in Gaza.
