Pars Today – The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom, on Thursday warned of the catastrophic state of healthcare in Gaza, stating that the region’s medical system is on the verge of total collapse.
In a post on X, Adhanom noted that more than 14,800 patients in Gaza are in urgent need of specialized medical care. He added that on Wednesday, the WHO facilitated the evacuation of 15 children in critical condition and 42 of their relatives to Jordan.
