Iranian media delegation travels to Pakistan to expand cooperation

Pars Today – A high-level delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Broadcasting (IRIB) organization arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital, to explore ways to develop media and cultural cooperation.

The visit, led by Ahmad Norouzi, IRIB Deputy for World Service, was made in response to an official invitation from Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The purpose of this visit is to explore ways to expand media, technical, and cultural cooperation.

On Sunday, the IRIB high-level delegation will meet with Attaullah Tarar, Pakistan’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting. The discussions will cover topics such as the exchange of television and educational productions and the signing of cooperation agreements with Pakistani media institutions, including the national television network (PTV).

This visit is seen as a step toward strengthening cultural ties between the neighboring countries of Iran and Pakistan. /IRIB News Agency
