Pars Today – The Political Deputy of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, stating that “under no circumstances will we accept zero enrichment,” stressed that uranium enrichment is a necessity and cannot be overlooked in Iran under any circumstances.
Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Iran’s Political Deputy Foreign Minister, told Japan’s Kyodo News Agency: “Enrichment is an important element of our program, but we can show flexibility regarding the capacity and level of enrichment.”
In this interview, Takht-Ravanchi also said: “We have a clear and transparent stance on the snapback mechanism. In our view, the three European countries—Britain, France, and Germany—cannot activate the snapback mechanism because they have violated their commitments under the JCPOA.” / ISNA
