  • Senior Iranian diplomat in Lebanon: Results of Larijani’s talks in Beirut will benefit both countries

Pars Today – The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon emphasized on Tuesday evening that the outcomes of the upcoming talks between Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council and Lebanese officials in Beirut will benefit both countries and their security.

Mojtaba Amani stated: "The visit of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, to Lebanon comes at a critical juncture in this country’s history."

The Iranian ambassador stressed that "during frank meetings in Lebanon, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council will convey Iran’s perspectives."

Larijani’s trip to Lebanon takes place as the region grapples with complex developments, with Iran’s role in supporting West Asia’s stability and security—and its resistance against foreign plots—becoming increasingly prominent.

Coinciding with the visit of Iran’s top security official to Beirut, Lebanese social media users, particularly journalists and the country’s Shia community, launched a symbolic and innovative campaign, trending the hashtag "Iran is a supporter, not an overlord."

This move comes amid escalating U.S. and Zionist regime pressure and obstruction against Lebanon’s Hezbollah. The Lebanese users’ initiative sent a clear message to the region’s adversaries: "Despite hostile efforts, the bond between Iran and the Axis of Resistance remains unbreakable."
