US President Donald Trump
Pars Today – Foreign users on social media, recalling the U.S. president’s support for the massacre of thousands of children in Gaza, have described his “crocodile tears” for Iranian protesters as a ridiculous spectacle.
U.S. President Donald Trump, in a new outburst of rhetoric, wrote in a social media post: “If Iran shoots protesters and violently kills them, the United States will step in to support them.” According to Pars Today, the U.S. president today claimed—using brazen and hypocritical language—to support peaceful protests in some Iranian cities, even though not long ago, in response to widespread demonstrations against him across the United States, he shared an AI-generated video with bizarre content. In the video, Trump is seen wearing a crown and riding a fighter jet that, while flying over protesters chanting “No to the King”—apparently gathered in Times Square—bombs them with a “brown-colored liquid.”
Trump’s remarks about intervening in Iran did not only provoke negative reactions from patriotic Iranian users; many people from different countries and languages also condemned the statements online.
Users pointed to Trump’s recent meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, describing the U.S. president as a puppet of the Israeli regime and attributing his positions to that meeting.
Below are some reactions from users on the social media platform X to Trump’s anti-Iran tweet:
A user named Abdulghafour wrote: “Regional security is tied to Iran’s security; if Iran is not secure, the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf will not be secure either.”
Another user, Ya’soub al-Din, said: “When it comes to the United States and Israel, the whole world has seen how brutally they deal with protesters. And yet they lecture others about the proper way to handle Iranian protesters.”
Bitcoin Rosarry wrote: “Trump’s brazen statements that the U.S. is ready to intervene in Iran’s internal affairs represent a dangerous and oppressive escalation that must be condemned in the strongest terms. This war-mongering rhetoric threatens to plunge the region and the world into another catastrophic war—one that the American people are completely opposed to.”
Another X activist, @MmunirZaman, said: “Trump is Netanyahu’s puppet. He’ll do anything for money.”
Abdifitah Ahmed wrote: “I tell the people of Iran to distinguish between legitimate demands and cooperating with their enemies. Never accept betrayal. Maintain calm and unity.”
Hossein al-Kaabi said: “Gaza has been completely destroyed and Syrian minorities are living in Holocaust-like conditions, yet none of this awakens Trump’s conscience. But protests in Iran—largely caused by his own sanctions—suddenly turn him into a supporter and defender of protesters. What a ridiculous show!”
Resa Bhat added: “These savages are once again threatening the world’s oldest civilization. Iranians must understand that these villains never come to save anyone; they only come to plunder and massacre. Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam are clear examples.”
Finally, Vaddepally Praveen wrote: “Donald Trump will remain an agent of global war, not peace. He has no right to interfere in Iran’s affairs.”
