He emphasized that the hearts and minds of the Iranian people and officials are always with the oppressed people of Palestine and said that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to support and assist the Palestinian people to the fullest extent possible.
Pezeshkian also commended Khalil al-Hayya’s leadership and management in fostering coordination among Palestinian groups, stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran would support any measure, initiative, or decision adopted by Palestinian leaders during the negotiation process.
He referred to the recent attacks by the Israeli regime and the United States against the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the regional situation, stating: “Despite these challenges, the issue of Palestine continues to maintain its central position in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and has not been overlooked by Iranian officials, policymakers, or the Leader of the Islamic Republic. It remains the foremost issue of the Islamic world.”
Pezeshkian wished the Palestinian people health, dignity, and victory, emphasizing the continuation of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for the people of Palestine. He said: “Iran will not spare any effort to assist the Palestinian people.”
The Iranian president also called for strengthening unity, solidarity, and convergence among Islamic countries in defense of the interests of the Muslim community.
In another part of the conversation, while asking for his greetings to be conveyed to other Palestinian fighters and officials, Pezeshkian said: “Unity and solidarity among Islamic countries can pave the way for the victory of truth over falsehood.”
He stressed: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported and will continue to support the oppressed, steadfast, and heroic Palestinian people, and it will seek, through expanding cooperation with Islamic countries, to reduce existing differences and enable the Muslim community to achieve greater unity and cohesion in confronting its enemies.”
During the phone conversation, Khalil al-Hayya, referring to recent regional developments and U.S. and Israeli attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran, described the Israeli regime as the main factor behind instability and threats to regional security, stressing that the regime, despite U.S. support, is on a path of decline.
The head of Hamas’ Political Bureau also praised the Islamic Republic of Iran’s steadfastness in facing threats, stating that Iran has been able to create new equations in the region. He expressed confidence that Iran would continue to achieve further gains, saying these achievements would benefit Iran, the region, and the Islamic world.
Khalil al-Hayya also expressed hope regarding the future of the Resistance Front, emphasizing that this movement in various countries across the region would ultimately achieve its goals and aspirations.
Referring to the continuation of the war in Gaza and the situation in the West Bank, al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Hamas political chief thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its continued support for the Palestinian people. He said that despite ongoing attacks and pressures, the Palestinian people would remain committed to their cause and the blood of Palestinian martyrs.
Al-Hayya further referred to the political negotiations process, stating that Hamas is pursuing these talks with the participation and coordination of other Palestinian groups. He said that, just as the movement has stood firm on the battlefield, it would not allow the Israeli regime to achieve through diplomacy goals that it failed to accomplish through war.
The head of Hamas’ Political Bureau also called for the use of Iran’s and Iranian officials’ experiences in the negotiation process in order to safeguard the interests of the Palestinian people. He expressed hope that political and diplomatic efforts, alongside field resistance, would contribute to achieving the goals of the Palestinian people.
Referring to Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Khalil al-Hayya expressed hope that the conclusion of this process would lead to the liberation of Palestine and Al-Quds al-Sharif.
The Hamas political chief also honored the memory of the martyred leaders and commanders of the Resistance Front, stressing the continuation of cooperation and convergence among aligned movements. He said that, within the framework of his responsibilities, he would work to strengthen the unity of the Muslim community and expressed hope to meet with the Iranian president in the near future.
