On Saturday, August 16, thousands of protesters marched to protest the “Israel- and U.S.-imposed famine” in the Gaza Strip. The march, held in front of the New York Public Library, was described as the first large-scale demonstration in the U.S. focused on the famine imposed by Israel in Gaza.
