Iran wins World Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad

Pars Today – Iran’s student team in the Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad has become the world champion of the 2025 competition in India for the second consecutive year.

The Iranian team members, including Hossein Soltani, Hirbod Foudazi, Hossein Masoumi, Arshia Mirshamsi Kakhaki, and Ali Naderi Lordjani, won five gold medals, securing first place at the 2025 World Olympiad in India.
