Araghchi: Rumors of Iran’s Shanghai Cooperation Organization Membership Cancellation Are Baseless

Pars Today – The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran has dismissed rumors about the cancellation of Iran’s membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as unfounded.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, described President Masoud Pezeshkian’s Wednesday visit to China as one of the most significant events in the history of bilateral relations. Addressing the rumors regarding Iran’s SCO membership, he stated: “Such rumors are baseless, and the member countries of this organization support Iran.” / IRNA
