North Korea: U.S. and allies’ military drill will have serious consequences

Pars Today – Kim Yo-jong, sister of the North Korean leader, described the upcoming joint military exercise by the United States, Japan, and South Korea as a “reckless show of force” and warned that this military action would have “bad consequences.”

Kim Yo-jong called the exercise a “dangerous idea” and added: “Their reckless display of power near North Korea, conducted in the wrong location, will inevitably produce serious negative results for themselves.” South Korea, the U.S., and Japan are scheduled to hold naval, air, and missile exercises from Monday to Friday on Jejudo Island in South Korea, which they claim is aimed at countering threats from North Korea. / IRNA
