Venezuelan Foreign Minister: We achieved victory at the UN Security Council

Pars Today – Venezuela’s Foreign Minister said that during the emergency UN Security Council meeting, where representatives of various countries criticized the U.S. military attack, Caracas achieved a clear and legitimate victory.

Iván Gil Pinto, Venezuela’s Foreign Minister, announced Monday night that truth prevailed at the UN Security Council and Venezuela secured a clear and legitimate victory. He added that the international community officially recognized that the January 3 U.S. attack was a violation of international law, the UN Charter, human rights, and the immunity of the sitting head of state.

Representatives of various countries at the emergency UN Security Council meeting condemned the U.S. military action against Venezuela, describing it as a blatant breach of international law and the UN Charter, and warned of its potential consequences for regional and international peace and stability. / IRNA
