Pezeshkian: Followers of Shia school cannot be forced into submission

Pars Today – The President of Iran stated that followers of the Shia school cannot be compelled to submit, even through the language of force.

According to Pars Today, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, wrote on his X account, referring to his telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Iraq: 

“We Muslims have already submitted—submitted to Almighty God—and no one else can make us submit.”

Pezeshkian added: “In my phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Iraq, I emphasized that they advise U.S. officials to remove military threats from our region, because followers of the Shia school cannot be forced into submission, even through the language of coercion.”
