Araghchi: U.S project freedom is project deadlock

Pars Today — Iran’s Foreign Minister wrote in a message that the United States’ “project freedom” in the Strait of Hormuz is in fact “project deadlock.”

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote Monday night in a post on the social network X, referring to the U.S. military’s claimed plan for ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz: 

“Events in Hormuz make clear that there's no military solution to a political crisis.”

The foreign minister added that as talks are making progress with Pakistan's gracious effort, the U.S. should be wary of being dragged back into quagmire by ill-wishers; So should the UAE.

Araghchi concluded: “Project Freedom is Project Deadlock.”
