According to Pars Today, Mohammad Mokhber, advisor to the Leader of the Revolution, wrote on his personal social media page that the escalation of tension in the Strait of Hormuz and the domino effect of defeats against Iran have led to the decline of U.S. hegemony, stating: "The Eastern axis has returned to its historical identity and has a plan to shape the region's new geopolitics."

He added: "Trump will travel to Beijing as a loser and, instead of a triumphant posture, he must look at the decline of Western civilization from the perspective of the East."
