Israeli regime prepares for major offensive in West Bank

Pars Today – Some Israeli military experts have interpreted the holding of large-scale exercises in the West Bank as a prelude to a major assault in the region.

Israeli media — including the Israel Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) and the newspaper Israel Hayom — have reported extensive military preparations in the West Bank that could lay the groundwork for a surprise, highly destructive attack. These measures are part of the Israeli army’s post–7 October 2023 reviews, intended to test the forces’ ability to carry out rapid, successive strikes even under conditions of disrupted command-and-control on the ground.

Reports indicate that the Israeli Air Force has created a “target bank” that includes positions in populated areas inside the West Bank and along the border with Jordan. This target bank enables the execution of a large number of rapid strikes so that, in the first hour of operations, hundreds of targets can be attacked. /Tasnim
